Aloe Vera is a plant that has thick, shrubby, pointy leaves with a gel-like substance inside. It has been cultivated for its soothing gel for thousands of years and found all over the world. Many people, like myself, even grow their own.
The ancestor of all my Aloe Vera plants bloomed at about 5 years of age!
I was gifted an Aloe Vera plant about 5 years ago, by a neighbor. I potted the plant and started taking care of it. Less than a year later, I had to travel out of town for some months and asked a friend to keep an eye on my Aloe for me. Since Aloe Vera doesn't require watering that often, I told my friend to water it once a month.
I was beginning to like the plant and even bought one and was taking care of it where I stayed with my brother's family those months I was away.
After about six months, I came back to town. Unfortunately, my Aloe was left in direct sunlight for long and wasn't watered for several months. I met an almost dead Aloe Vera. I was very sad. I first moved it out of direct sunlight and started nurturing it back to life.
My Aloe Vera responded well to my care and rewarded me with many babies. It is such a fruitful plant! I now have a garden full of beautiful Aloe Vera plants.
I have even started the business of selling Aloe Vera! So, If you need yourself some Aloe Vera plants, hit me up!
I developed this profound love for Aloe Vera which prompted me to learn more about this unique plant.

Procedure for Making Aloe Vera Juice
Juice extracted from aloe vera plants is widely available in grocery stores. It is commonly sold in bottled form and is thinned out with water before being packaged.
DIY Aloe Vera juice has the added benefit of being completely natural, so it's worth considering.
Remove the sharp ends from an Aloe Vera plant. Set it aside for a while or give it a good rinsing to get rid of the yellow fluid.
The gel can then be removed by carefully slicing off the skin on the flat side of the leaf and scraping it out with a spoon. Once the gel has been extracted, it should be stored in the refrigerator unless it will be used right away. The plant's edible part is this gel. Make sure the plant has had the skin completely stripped away. There's a bitter, off-putting taste from the skin. For more thorough removal, you can rinse the gel off under running water.
Blend the gel in a blender when you're ready to use it. You can adjust the thickness by adding water while blending or after it has been blended. The end product is a drink with a crisp, clean flavour.
Here are a few suggestions for incorporating Aloe Vera juice into your daily diet:
• Consume the juice on its own.
• Add some aloe vera juice to your lemonade.
• Blend some aloe vera juice into your smoothie.
• Aloe vera juice can be used in place of other juices in cocktails.
